Dr. Ayriss Swenor

Ayriss was born and raised in the Harbor Springs-Petoskey area, graduating from Petoskey High School in 2016, receiving her Associate of Arts degree from North Central Michigan College the following year. There, she started to develop more interest in learning about human anatomy and physiology. In 2020, she graduated from Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State University with a Bachelors degree in Physiology and a minor in Bioethics.

During her time at MSU, Ayriss realized that she wanted to become a healthcare professional, but through a more holistic, nonallopathic route, and this is how she discovered chiropractic medicine. Ayriss then moved to the Pacific Northwest and received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and Bachelors of Science in Human Biology at University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. She developed more of an interest in using physiotherapy modalities, such as electrical stimulation and shockwave therapy, and utilizing different soft tissue techniques, such as cupping, scraping, and manual ischemic compression.

From July to October 2024, Ayriss finished out her DC program with her preceptorship at Fiel Clinic Chiropractic Center and has been Dr. Fiel's Associate Chiropractor since October 2024. Outside of helping her patients, Ayriss enjoys playing tennis, attending concerts, walking her corgi, and reading fantasy novels.
